Wind loads of containers

This paper shows how the air resistance is influenced by the position of the containers on the deck. A large and comprehensive wind tunnel test study has been made for a large containership using different strategies for the position on deck.

The study has been made by Ingrid as a Bachelor project. The project was made in the high-speed wind tunnel at FORCE Technology in Lyngby.
